I was so looking forward to my retirement years. My wife and I had a plan. We stuck to it and religiously saved our pennies. Everything was on track. Then, the bottom fell out. Long time customers of our small business began to default. The orders stopped coming in. The recession was real. After a battle with my health caused by the long hours and stress of attempyting survival, I surrendered. The food stamps and handouts were sending us into deep depression. There we were, wallowing in defeat. Then it dawned on me. We had a darn good credit history before the recession and we could sell our story to someone out there. With the help of people like Hawkeye Management, it is possible to get one of the unsecured business lines of credit and weather the storm. Now that the economy is slowly but surely in repair, we have a good chance for that retirement.

Help might be right around the corner. Imagine getting an unsecured business loan for a nice tidy sum and starting your very own health spa. You could get daily massages and eat healthy food in the presence of all your wealthy clients. Life could be pretty cool. So pack up all your cares and woes and look forward to better days. If this sounds a bit utopic, you are probably right. It is, however, nice to dream, isn’t it? We all need to dream. This is what makes us go on to bigger and better things and improve our lives.

All of a sudden, it seems to me, there are a plethera of condo projects in Canada. For years I thought condos were a US phenomena. The fact is they are springing up all over the world. I remember the word co-op back in New York City when I was a child. I often wonder what the difference is. I was recovering from influenza last week and killed some time looking for condos for sale in Winnipeg and now I am bitten by another bug. I am planning a trip to go see them in person. These places look gorgeous on line. If they are half as nice in person, I’m gone.

Being on health watch on a daily basis as I have been for several years now is not always easy. Since some deteriorization of my personal health some years ago, I have diligently been attempting to inform my readers of any helpful news I come across. It is amazing how interesting it gets when you start analyzing all the different scenarios related to your health. In particular, diet and what we eat is always out on the table, so to speak. I was sitting at a table at a wedding reception pondering how much of the cake I could eat without it affecting my blood sugar. All I came up with was the licking off the cream from one of the best wedding cake toppers I have ever seen.

I recently heard a report on local radio claiming there was a study revealing amazing things about the health of children. They said that a child confronted with a violent atmosphere, such as in certain ghettos etc. will actually experience DNA changes in later years. There is an ongoing trend of studies exhibiting, previously unthought of, findings in how mental health affects physical health. Different findings show how state of mind influences things like obesity and diabetes. To think that you can seperate mind and body is becoming increasingly more and more absurd.
I personally see the difference in my digestion and overall feeling of well being being affected by the stress of owning and caring for a big house. Tomorrow, I am looking at a Burnaby condo to replace it.
